Veteran Head Coach Jim Capy returns for his 4th year with the Beavers. Capy previously coached the Beavers from 2004-06.
In a 3 year period he has a record of 76 wins, 55 losses and 12 ties. Last season he led the Beavers to 29-14-7 record with a 650% winning percentage, both of which stand as Beavers' records.
Prior to coaching the Beavers, Capy spent a half a season with the now defunct Soo Indians and from 2000-04 led the Soo Thunderbirds to four consectutive trips to the NOJHL finals and 1 Dudley-Hewitt Cup.
Over the course of his 7 1/2 years in the NOJHL, 66 of his players have moved on to a higher level, including 22 to Division 1 schools in the United States.
